Our goal is to sell our product with honesty and transparency, without hidden so-called fine print. Communication plays an important role in this. If, after reading this text, something is still unclear, we kindly ask you to let us know. We can then further enhance transparency. These sales conditions apply to all orders and agreements for the sale of products by Akaija & Art.
General
Although legal provisions are important and perhaps even necessary, we strive to operate under the ‘rules’ of Common Law, or Universal Law, which is the highest form of law in the Universe.
In short, this means that we try to run Akaija & Art from our hearts, to which we are accountable to ourselves. Not to another, not to the government, but to the divine within us. This means that we take responsibility for everything we do. It also means (in situations such as a disagreement regarding, for example, an order or sale) that we try to resolve the issue from that perspective. When we state that we offer a 14-day ‘money-back guarantee,’ it does not mean that you cannot approach us after that time if a problem arises. Theoretically, it may indeed be appropriate for us to replace an item even after a longer period. Conversely, it may also be the case that a complaint is not valid, and in this regard, you bear responsibility. National laws do not always provide for such situations, but they form a good starting point. It is too extensive to clarify this here and now, but perhaps you understand what we are trying to convey between the lines. Communication is, as with everything in life, very important, including this.

How to Order
Orders can be placed by post, phone, email, or directly through our website.
Orders are processed as much as possible within a few working days after ordering. This depends on the availability of the item, any manufacturing time, holidays, and the payment method you choose. For longer delivery times than a few days, we will keep you informed.
Ordering from Outside the Netherlands
For deliveries outside the Netherlands, higher shipping costs apply. Upon request, you will receive a quote from us including the applicable shipping and postal costs. Special offers on our website are valid as long as they are listed on our website and the mentioned end date has not passed.
Retention of Title
Ownership of the goods supplied by Akaija & Art only transfers once full payment has been made.
Delivery
Most items are available from stock. In principle, we respond personally after an order, and if necessary, we will inform you of the delivery time. All orders are only shipped upon prepayment via a bank transfer or online payment. In some cases, exceptions may be made. You can also order by phone or send us an email or letter.
Not Satisfied, Money Bac
After receiving the product, you have a 14-day guarantee to cancel the agreement without giving reasons and return the product. You will bear the costs of the return shipment, and the costs of sending the item to you will not be refunded. It is assumed that the item is undamaged. Akaija & Art will refund the paid amounts (excluding any shipping costs) within 14 working days after receiving the return shipment.
Returns
You must always report returns to us first. Returns must always be sent back with sufficient postage. If it concerns more expensive jewelry, we advise sending it registered so that you have proof of shipment.
Damage
If anything is missing, defective, or damaged in the shipment, please report this as soon as possible by phone (+31(0)55 5335747) or by email (atelier@akaija.com).
We will then try to reach a quick and appropriate solution in consultation. You can also request us to repair, replace, or deliver the missing item. Errors made by us will be corrected as quickly as reasonably possible after being reported to us.
