This painting was made for a medium in the Netherlands, Marion.

When I started this painting, it was set up in red colors, bright red. So much so that I wondered what was going on. Red is often associated with anger and aggression and negative energies, and I couldn’t imagine that with this woman.

Slowly, the color changed… the red became increasingly pink and ethereal. Eventually, the violet shades began to take over the red. It taught me that colors labeled as spiritual are carried by colors that are very elemental. And perhaps that is also the meaning of this painting… not to be afraid of red, not to be afraid to sometimes feel angry. Anger itself is human and is not wrong. What you do with it afterward and whether you hold onto it is another story.

The same power of red can also be used to help other people. And I am convinced that this applies to the clairvoyant woman for whom this painting was made. Red was necessary to create violet.
