Casting an Akaija in two colors of gold is not possible, so it can only be handmade. Wim does this himself. This Akaija will be slightly larger and heavier than the normal gold Akaija, but is lighter than an Akaija bold in gold.

Supplying your own gold is possible (e.g., because there is a personal value to it), but this does not make the Akaija cheaper, as it involves a lot of extra work such as smelting and wire-pulling, and usually requires gold to be added. Moreover, self-supplied gold is usually much harder and thus more difficult and time consuming to work with. What is left I send back with it, of course.
